The Community Center serves the greater Nederland area and provides space for community gatherings, town board and municipal court meetings, fitness and dance classes, and concerts and performances.
If you missed the Art show you can still see all the art hanging at the Community Center.

The October 2nd reception will feature demo artist Elizabeth Azcarate. Elizabeth will do an oil painting demonstration from 5:30 – 6:00 pm in the Community Room.
New for this opening reception will be an opportunity to hear the artists speak about their work. Artists will be available by their artwork from 6:00 to 6:30. We hope you enjoy learning a little more about what inspired them to create their art.
Our guest musician for this show will be Ryan Thayer, singing and playing acoustic guitar. He will play songs of Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, Jack Johnson and many more, including a few originals. Ryan’s most recent performance was in Chengdu, China last week!

Attorney Karina Thomas will give a presentation on planned giving, Tuesday, July 22 at 7:00 pm. She will talk in the community room of the Nederland Community Center.
Planned Giving is a strategy for donating to charities and other organizations in the future, through designations in your will, trust, insurance policy, 401(k) or other asset. It’s a safe and generous way to support your favorite nonprofit without worrying about current expenses. Ms Thomas will explain your options for planned giving and answer questions from the audience.
